Christie,
Let me just tell you that I have taught in all the 4 states where we have lived thus far.  You have been the best to work for.  You are so easy going, organized, friendly, involved in everything and the kids just love you.  I love how you know the name of every single student in the studio whether they take your classes or one of the other teachers.  You are so careful who you hire and you bring so many opportunities for your students right to their own studio.
Thank you for letting me be a part of your studio even though it was for a short time.  I have learned alot from you.  And I only hope that I have been an asset to your school.
Thanks Again,
Kathy Williams

Ms. Christie,

I wanted to thank you and your staff for providing a first-class studio for dancers.  After attending yet another competition, I am proud to be associated with DTOM. The DTOM dancers have age appropriate music, choreography and costumes while being competitive with others who seem willing to sacrifice the decency of our young people in order to win a prize.  Since my daughters spend so much time at the studio, it is reassuring to know they are in a positive environment.

God Bless You and the DTOM Staff,

 Kim Mazur

Hi Christie!  The Showcase Sat. night was awesome!!!! Amber and Avery had a great time.  All the girls put on an awesome show. Their love of dance really showed!  I also wanted to mention that Amber and Avery  Want to do a solo this fall.  I understand that the spots for solos fill up fast, but could you put them down and If they have to wait till the next year go ahead and put them down for that.  They will both be taking the Company classes this summer, clogging and tumbling too! And sign me up as a backstage volunteer for the Recital.

Have a great Spring Break!!!
See ya next week!

Christie,

Thank you.  I received Leah's costumes.  As usual, they are TOO CUTE!!  The only thing we did not receive were her tights.  I spoke with 3 other parents from the Daycare Dance Class and everyone is grateful for you moving the pictures to next Saturday.

Thank you for your help lately.  It is greatly appreciated.

Ann

Christie,

I just wanted to let you know that you did an awesome job on the line up.

With so many girls taking additional classes, I know that was not an easy task.

Thank you for your consideration and hard work.  It will be a job getting costumes

changed but Anna and I are planning now on how to make it go as smoothly as possible.

Also, I wanted to let you know that this years competitions

were wonderful and Anna really enjoyed the experience.

 DTOM DANCERS/TEACHERS ROCK!!!!!

 Thank you,

 Tracy Noble

Hi Christie,

We have moved to Abbeville and it will be too far to drive to Fountain Inn.  Shelby and I will miss everyone. Thank you for having such a great dance studio. She has learned alot. I was wondering, do you know of any dance schools in Greenwood. We are only about 10 minutes from Greenwood and I would like to find her a good school in Greenwood. Again thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hey Christie! I hope all is well. How is miss Charlotte Marie? I have some really cute pics I need to send you if I can ever find my computer cord (that connects my camera).  Anyways, I have some great new about dance...starting next week, I will be taking every day (except Fri.) and the classes I am taking for a grade this semester are MUCH better than the ones last semester! The night classes I am taking are with the USC Dance Conservatory but they are not for a grade, they are studio classes that you pay to take.

Here is a little schedule
Mon. - Musical Theatre dance w/ Cindy Flach (I had her last semester too). This class is a lot of fun and right now we are working on a Fosse piece from Chicago!
Tues. - Intermediate jazz w/ Miriam Barbosa. This class is awesome - much better than my last semester jazz . She is from Brazil and danced with some good companies. I really get a workout in this class (which is what I need) and she uses a lot of gyrokinesis in her warm-up (which is a killer).
Wed. - Musical Theatre again and (starting next week) Hip-Hop from 7:15-8 w/ Quinton Green
Thurs. - Intermediate jazz again and Ballet 5 w/ Marissa Freeman from 6:30-8 (I start that next week too).
The Dance Conservatory also has a ballet on Fridays and I may look into taking that on weekends I'm not going home.

I am really excited and I hope this will help me get back into the groove a little! I wish I knew a/b the dance conservatory last semester! But I won't talk your ear off b/c I know you are busy busy! How are all of the classes going at the studio? Tell all of my girls I said hello and that I miss them dearly!!! I miss dancing w/ y'all.

Have a great rest of the week & weekend!!!

I was just e-mailing to say hi.  I haven't talked or
seen y'all in a while.  Well, how's the baby doing?  I
bet she is spoiled and cute as she can be.  I miss
dancing at the studio and coming to classes and having
fun with the old gang and going to competitions.  I am
still dancing.  I am still on the College of
Charleston dance team and some days I go and take
classes at Robert Ivey.  The dance team and I will be
going to Daytona, Florida to the Chick-Fil-A NDA
competition.  I am very excited about going to my
first NDA competition.  We have already learned our
dance and our theme is "DIRTY SOUTH" LOL.  Well I
recently won Homecoming King at the College of
Charleston.  I was the only freshman that was
nominated and I won.  I was really happy when I won.
I received a crown, sash, a medallion, and cash.
Well, I don't want to talk you to death, tell Ms.
Sandra, Ms. Elizabeth, Tracey, and everybody else I
said hello and reach for platinum.  I will be home the
first week in March and I will come by and visit. Ooh,
how's Ms. Elizabeth's baby doing, I have just seen
pictures of the baby, but I bet her baby is spoiled as
well.  Have a good day and see you soon!!! Terence

Hey Christie,  It's Leah.  I hope everything is going well at the studio. Has the studio moved yet?  Well, I just wanted to let you know that I have joined a new non-profit contemporary dance company called SIDEWAYS that's based in Atlanta.  I'm mailing you information about it this week, and I've also mailed you an invitation to our Gala that's coming up on Oct. 2.  It's on a Monday, but we will be having other performances throughout the year.  Anyone is welcome to come.  There is no price to get in, everything is donation based.  I know that it's short notice so if you can't make it that's fine.  I will keep you posted on up coming performances.  Let everyone know I said hey.  I love you.  -Leah

Dear Christie,
The flowers are just a small token of our appreciation for making this dance year a great one for Erin.  I have been so impressed with how professional and organized your classes and especially the Recitals were.  Erin has learned so much!
Also thanks for your patience when we were late and some times had to miss a class due to other obligations, such as Erin’s Softball games etc.
Erin wants to take dance classes again this Fall – so we’ll be back.  Again, Thanks for all you’ve done. Donna Gooch

You are a great dance teacher.  I will see you next year.  Thank you.

Love, Erin

Dear Dance Theatre on Main,
Could you please let us know when the Spring Observation is?  We don’t want to miss it.
Thanks for all you do for the girls.  We are impressed with her knowledge of ballet terms and practices.  We bought her a ballet book for Christmas, and as we read it, she showed us what all the words meant.  Great for a 4 year old!

Thanks, Terri Klaeser

Christie,
Thank you so very much for a year of dance and great memories of the girls’ dance recital.  Not only are you an awesome dancer you are a “smart” girl who runs her business in a professional, caring way.  Even as your number of dancers grows, I felt my girls received individual attention.  You know their names even though they were not in your class.
We look forward to another great year at DTOM.  I congratulate you on your many successes!

You go girl ?
God Bless you!
Sonya Croker, Sara Kalyn and Wells

Ms Christie and Ms Elizabeth,
I just want to take a minute to say “thank you” for a great year of dancing and “Congratulations” for a successful dance recital.
Gracie had a wonderful experience with dance this year.  We certainly appreciate all the effort Elizabeth put into teaching her class.
Also, thank you for working out a recital schedule that allowed Gracie’s class to participate with the younger girls instead of the later performance.  We enjoyed the recital and were impressed on how organized things were with so many dancers involved.  Having been to many recitals, I really appreciate that there was no intermission and that the length of the recital was enjoyable (not too short and not too long).  Thanks Again.

Sincerely,
Sally Lookadoo

Thank you Christie,
Jacquelyn is looking forward to seeing you and is excited about coming back to dance.
See you soon,
Shauna

Christie,
I just wanted to say thank you for a great meeting!  It meant a lot to me that you took time out of your schedule to give me what I consider important information about the upcoming year.  Thank you for all the preparation that you did.  You had your act together and it showed!  I feel empowered and very excited about this next dance year!  You and everyone else at DTOM has done such an outstanding job with my girls and they absolutely love you all!  It was the personal touch that drew us to DTOM, and it is the personal touch that will always keep them here.  Again, thanks for a wonderful job!
