ATTENDANCE – Progress and advancement is attained only by consistently attending class. Every effort must be made to keep absences to a minimum to none. Be on Time, you are expected to arrive At least 5 minutes early. ALL STUDENTS: Please wear cover ups to and from Dance Theatre. DRESS CODE – Students are expected to wear the appropriate dancewear as listed and have hair neatly secured away from face & neck for all classes. No jeans, Umbros, Shorts, T-shirts, etc. can be worn for dancewear. HAIR- Hair Must be tightly pulled away from face & neck, in ALL classes. FOOD & DRINKS - ABSOLUTELY NO food, drinks or candy are allowed outside of the break room. This applies not only to our students but also parents and siblings, unless given permission by the director or DToM staff. Please help keep our studio clean. HOLIDAYS – Dance Theatre will follow the Greenville County School Schedule for most holiday closings. This does Not include Teacher Workdays and some Monday holidays. Dance Theatre will follow Greenville County School Schedule for cancellations due to inclement weather. Missed classes due to inclement weather will not be rescheduled. If you are unsure, please call the studio or check our website www.DanceTheatreOnMain.com TUITION – Tuition is not based on a cost per month basis. All tuition is due on or before the 10th of each month, regardless of what day this may fall. A $10 late fee will be applied to all accounts Not paid by the 10th. Tuition remains the same whether it is a 3 week or 5 week month, regardless of student absences. Tuition is based on the amount of weeks in a season running September – May (32 classes). (ex 1-one hour class $405 for the entire season). Tuition for a student who attend more than one class or have a sibling attending class, is determined by how many classes and how many children are taking. All Tuition is based on how many weeks are in a season, then totaled & divided into monthly or semester installments. Payment & Discounts vary depending on which installment plan you choose. *Family discounts apply to those with more than one child enrolled. Options: 1. Season Paid In-Full 2. Semester Installments (DUE in September, December & March) 3. Monthly Installments (9 monthly payments) *It is preferred that monthly payments be paid by Electronic Draft! Tuition past due over 20 days will suspend student from class until the balance is paid. If you or your child decides to stop attending Dance Theatre on Main, tuition will continue to accrue unless we are notified with a written notice of withdrawal. No tuition or costume payment will be refunded if you withdraw before the Dance Season is completed. A $30 returned check fee is charged for all returned checks. For your convenience, preaddressed envelopes are provided with payment booklets. Please note that statements are mailed for overdue accounts ONLY! NEWSLETTERS –Please make sure that you receive and thoroughly read ALL newsletters, handouts and posted information. It is imperative that you read all information given out; this will keep you informed and up to date on all events, performances, fundraisers, etc. at Dance Theatre. WEBSITE – www.DanceTheatreOnMain.com - As with our newsletter, our site will keep you posted on all current Dance Theatre happenings. Any information you receive at our studio will also be available online. COSTUMES & Tights– All costumes will be ordered in December. A costume deposit of $25 will be due by October 30th and the balance, expected to be between $25-$75, is due by November 30th. If your child enrolls in more than 1 class expect to pay a deposit of $25 for each class and expect the balance to be $25-$75 for each costume. You may choose to have your costume fee included in your monthly or semester tuition installments. Costume payments are non-refundable since made to order costumes cannot be returned. No costume will be ordered without full payment. Tights will be ordered in January. *Please note that some students may need minor alterations on recital costumes. DToM uses Alterations & More on Trade Street in Fountain Inn. OBSERVATION – It is our belief that students work more productively when not observed. Teachers need the student’s full attention without interruption or distraction to teach effectively. For this reason, parents, friends, and family members are asked to observe class on the designated “Parents Weeks”. LATE PICK UP – If your child is not picked up with in 15 minutes after the end of class a fee of $10 will be charged for every 15 minutes thereafter.
RECITAL #2 – May 17th 5:00pm ages 6 & up RECITAL #3 May 17th 8:00pm ALL Company, Clogging Team & Solos, Duets, Trios, Small groups A detailed recital information packet will be given out in April. All balances must be paid to participate in the Spring Recitals. RECITAL TICKETS – Each family will receive 2 free tickets for mom & dad, any additional tickets will be available for purchase starting 1 month before Recital. Please purchase your tickets early, we always sell out! Civic Center ticket prices - Dance Theatre students $4, Children 10 & under $8, Adults $12 The 2007- 08 fall season ends May17th, 2008 REGISTRATION – All NEW students are asked to attend Registration Day for placement and scheduling. Returning students may register by phone or email, sending the completed form with fee in order to reserve your space. Registration fee - $20 per student $35 per family with more than one child enrolled.
